Decatur's Square · Est. 2024
Need a coffee that hits different before 5, or a cocktail that earns its keep after?
We're the corner spot on the Decatur square where the espresso is fresh, the pour is honest, and nobody's rushing you out the door — whether you're settling in for the morning or winding down for the night.
Our Story
A place that knows its regulars by name.
The County Seat started with a simple idea: a spot on the Decatur square that doesn't force you to pick between a great cup of coffee and a properly made drink. You shouldn't have to choose.
We opened our doors on South Trinity Street because this town deserves a place that feels both polished and comfortable — where the morning rush flows naturally into the evening crowd, and the same counter serves both.
Everything we serve is made with intention. Our coffee comes from roasters who care about their craft. Our cocktails are built with real spirits and fresh ingredients. And our food is straightforward, honest, and made to pair well with whatever you're drinking.
The Vibe
Two acts. One room. No compromise.
Before five, this is your neighborhood coffee shop — warm light, good music, and a counter that's never too crowded to say hi. After five, the same space shifts into something a little darker and a little louder, with cocktails that take their time and a atmosphere that makes it easy to stay.
The County Seat isn't trying to be anything it's not. We're a place on the Decatur square that works hard at being welcoming, whether you're here for a quick espresso or a long evening with friends.
